The solution of a headset mic not working on desktop : Solution(11/25/2018)

My Computer Specification

  - Motherboard GA-AB350-Gaming 3

  - OS: Windows 10 Pro (64bit)

  - Headset : Kotion Each G9000

  - "Y" Splitter Cable - 3.5mm Female to Stereo Males cables

How to set 

Step 1: A headset connects to a "Y" Splitter Cable.

Step 2: A green jack plugs in a green(sound) input device, A pink jack plugs in a pink(microphone-mic) input device.

This is a hardware setting.

Step 3: Type “realtek audio console” in the type here to search in windows 10

Step 4: Please set as blow in Device Advanced settings[Device Advanced settings]

  - Disable front panel popup dialog : on

  - Enable Jack detection when device is plugged in : on

  - Pink adapter in Back Panel in ANALOG : Mic IN

  -  Playback device is checked in “Make internal And external Output Devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously.”

  - Recording Device is checked in “Separate all input jacks as independent input devices.”

[ Device Advanced settings 1 ]

Step 5: Microphone Boost which is located in Mic in at rear panel(Pink) sets +20dB.(Not necessarily)

Step 6: Open control panel by typing “sound” in the type here to search.

Step 7: Click ‘Recording tap’ and ‘Mic in at rear panel (Pink)’

Step 8: Click ‘Properties’ and ‘Levels’

Step 9: ‘Mic in at rear panel (Pink)’ sets 100 and ‘Microphone Boost” sets +12.0dB.

Step 10: Click ‘Listen’ tap and check in ‘Listen to this device’ and click apply.

Step 11: Test by speaking “Hello”. If you hear the echo, the setting is proper.

 - In my experience, Voice Recorder which is provided by windows 10 isn't work properly.

Step 12: Check out “‘Listen to this device’ and click apply.

Step 13: Test again on a website at https://online-voice-recorder.com/

Yesterday is my first Thanksgiving Day in U.S.A.  A turkey meat taste differs what I thought. Mash potatoes was delicious. Pie also was delicious.

Thanksgiving Day is a national holyday. Sarah tried to Thanksgiving Day was designated a national holyday. The book “Sarah. The woman who saved thanksgiving” describes what she did and what she accomplished.

The book describes the woman as bold, brave, stubborn, and smart. But I think she was a sensitive one. After her husband passed away, she had to get a job to feed her family. She got a chance to become an editor. She totally understood the position of editor. She didn’t stay an editor. She became an opinion maker. She changed the world.

I read a book “mummies made in Egypt”. I saw mummies in the British museum a few years ago. I knew that mummy was made without organs. I also know why they made the mummy. I remember that some mummies which I saw in England were very colorful. But some mummies which was made naturally were not colorful. Yes. Colorful mummies were high level person.  Did the family satisfied with colorful mummies?

I didn’t know that how to remove brain. It was a shock that a brain of corpse was removed through the nostrils with metal hooks.  For a period, time mummies were buried on their sides, so that they could look out of the eyes painted on the wooden coffin.

The most interesting thing are ‘ba’ and ‘ka’. A ba means a soul. A ka means an invisible twin of the person. A ba is familiar with a common concept. But a ka isn’t familiar with concepts.

It was one of the most serious punishment that a dead person’s body was cut in ancient Korean culture. I think that a person who became the mummy was not so happy when he saw his body was treated like that.

I read a book ‘spooked’ in weekend. The book describes with a radio drama in 1938. At that time, radio was a major entertainment media. The radio drama title is “the war of the worlds”. The drama was broadcasted by the Mercury theater. The drama was too realistic, many people believe it is a true.

The story of drama was alien come from Mars invaded in the America. The radio drama used a news bulletin and mimicked an astronomy specialist.

I think people are would like to believe something without doubt. people would like to listen what he wants to. That is a problem.  If we meet weird things, we must have a position to check.

컴퓨터 모니터가 갑자기 어두워졌어요.

[증상]

몇 일전부터 컴퓨터가 이상하더니 오늘은 컴퓨터 사용 몇 분 만에 갑자기 모니터가 흑백으로 바뀌었다.

 

모니터 전원은 정상적인 상태였다.

백신으로 검사를 하는 과정에 모니터가 흑백으로 바뀌면서 내용이 보이지 않으니 바이러스 때문인지 또는 악성코드 때문인지 확실하지 않았다.

 

[해결방법]

혹시나 하는 마음에 윈도우 업데이트를 시도하였다. 사용자 계정이 아닌 관리자 계정으로 들어가서 윈도우 업데이트를 한 후 사용자 계정으로 들어갔다. 문제가 해결되었다.

 

사용자 계정을 바꾸는 방법을 몰라 잠시 당황했는데 아래 그림 파일을 사용자를 클릭하면 사용자 계정이 변경됩니다.

 

셰익스피어의 맥베스(Macbeth by William Shakespeare)

셰익스피어는 맥베스에서 인간은 욕망을 채우기 위해 악을 행하지만 본질적으로 선하므로 자신이 행한 악행에 괴로워한다고 보고있다.

나는 피부의 상피세포가 제일 예뻐.

미스터 홀랜드 오퍼스 (Mr. Holland's Opus)를 봤다.

내용 중 플롯을 연주하는 여학생이 자신이 재능이 없다고 실망한 나머지 미스터 홀랜드에게 자신의 플롯을 관심있는 다른이에게 주라고 얘기하는 장면이 나온다.

그때 주인공 미스터 홀랜드가 그 여학생에게 뜬금없이 이렇게 묻는다.

"너는 거울을 볼때 어디가 가장 예뻐다고 생각하니?"

그 여학생이 대답한다.

"머리색깔이요. 아빠가 항상 저의 머리색깔이 노을빛같아 예뻐다고 하셨어요"

이 장면에서 나는 내게도 딸이 있는데 어디가 예쁜지 한번도 말하지 않았다는 것을 알았고, 딸에게 물어보고 계속 칭찬을 해줘야지 생각했다.

마침 어제 딸에게 영화 이야기를 하면서 너는 거울보면서 어디가 예뻐다고 생각하는지 물어보았다.

딸이 대답했다.

"음.. 나는 내 피부의 상피세포가 제일 예뻐."

피부의 상피세포가 예뻐다니.... 못 말리게 예쁜 딸이다.

조지 오웰(George Orwell)의 본명이 Eric Arthur Blair다.

나에게 1984를 가장 짧게 표현해보라고 한다면 "매 앞에 장사없다"라고 말하고 싶다.

소설은 감사사회에서 개인의 일상과 주변 인물을 섬세하게 그려나간다.

철저한 감사사회에서도 남여 사이의 사랑은 막을 수 없었지만, 연애를 하면서도 멀지 않은 시점에 자신이 잡혀갈 것이라고 생각하는 슬픈 감시사회를 그리고 있다.

제2부의 마지막 부분에 주인공 원스턴은 연인 줄리아와 함께 사상경찰에게 잡히고 만다. 원스턴은 줄리아와 있었던 모든 것을 이야기하면서도 자신은 연인을 배신하지 않았다고 믿는다. 

그러나 윈스턴은 마침내 극한의 공포에 내몰리자 그 공포가 줄리아에게 가라고 소리치고 만다. 

원스턴은 자신의 신념이 무엇인지 기억조차 하지 못하고 마침내 빅브라더를 사랑했다고 말한다.

어린 학생을 교육시키면서 교육의 본 목적보다는 감시사회의 감시자로 만들어가는 장면에서 조지 오웰의 다른 작품인 동물농장과 중첩되었다는 생각도 들었다.

읽고 나서 씁쓸했다. 나약한 인간과 사악한 인간의 차이는 간격이 크지 않다는 느낌이다.

2017년 롯데 준플레이오프 5차전 관전기

비마저 내리는 사직구장을 향해 아들과 나는 대전에서 부산으로 가는 무구화호 열차에 몸을 실었다. 궂은 날씨에도 불구하고 여기저기 롯데와 NC 유니폼을 입은 승객들이 여럿 보였다.

구포역에서 내리야하는데 부산역까지 갔고, 기차도 지체되고 경긱시작 2시를 넘어 사직야국장에 도착했다. 비가 내리고 있었고, 경기는 비때문에 아직 시작하지 않았다. 롯데 기념품 가게에 50% 할인을 하고 있어서 아들과 나는 각각 모자를 하나씩 사고 경기장을 향했다.

모자를 살때 명문은 경기를 이기면 이겨서 기분이 좋아서 산것이고 경기에 지면 대전에서 부산까지 왔는데 뭐라도 하나 건져가야 했기에 샀다는 명문이었다.

경기가 시작되고 초반분위기는 괜찮았다.

문제의 5회. 박세웅이 첫타자를 볼넷으로 걸어보낼때 아들에게 이렇게 말했다. "빨리 바꿔야겠는데. 박세웅이 4회까지 무실점으로 끌고 온것도 혼신의 힘을 다한 것이기에 이제는 힘들 것 같은데."

그런데 바꾸지 않았다 안타를 맞은 무사 1, 2루에서 투수교체가 이루어졌다.

이후 신본기가 3루 터치 후 홈으로 던져도 되는 공을 몸이 굳어 홈으로만 던졌고, 이후 롯데는 처참하게 깨어지고 말았다.




부산 내려가기 전에 아내가 승패와 상관없이 즐겁게 즐기다 오라 했거늘, 너무 맥없이 지는 롯데에 즐거움이 반감되고 말았다.
아들 녀석이 "너무 처참하게 깨져, 성도 나지 않는다"고 말했다.



그래도 비가 오는 사직야구장에 우의를 장창한 관중들의 모습은 또다른 볼거리였다.

2017년 시즌 고생많았습니다. 롯데 자이언츠.
내년에는 더 강한 모습으로 만나요.

도리깨질

추석에 처가집에 갔더니 콩대를 말리고 있었다.

콩대에서 콩을 분리하는 도구로 도리깨질이 생각나서 한번 해보았다.
